About Us

Cinny Sun Co came into being out of frustration from being unable to keep a hat on my children's heads when they were wearing earmuffs. With both parents full time on the farm, the kids go where we go - and where we go is usually sunny, and sometimes loud. The more I thought about it, the more I realised that it could be useful to more than just farming families like ours, but to anyone with kids who brings them along to their louder hobbies and tasks - live music, sporting events, gardening, the list goes on! So I borrowed my mum's sewing machine, learned to sew and many, many prototypes later the hats were born and I had discovered how much I enjoyed creating novel designs with hidden features - and so the Packaroo followed. The cogs are already turning for my next creation, so watch this space! 

Our safety promise

Everything we make is designed for my own kids first, so nothing leaves the farm that I wouldn't use on them. Every product is independently tested or certified before it reaches you. Where an Australian stardard exists, we test to it. Where one doesn't yet, we use the most relevant international standard and tell you exactly which one (see how each product is tested here).
